Job Description
NIH-funded research laboratory (PI: Louis D. Falo, MD, Ph.D.) in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, research-oriented individual at the postdoctoral level. The interest of the lab is to study cutaneous biology and immune function while leveraging that evolving understanding to develop new skin-targeted strategies to modulate local and systemic immune responses. Projects are flexible but must focus on skin immunology and ideally generate the foundation for the candidate’s future independent career.
A Ph.D. in Immunology with experience in working with mouse models, cell culture, and cellular, and Flow cytometry-based assays is required. Experience with bioinformatics is desirable. The successful candidate will have effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience with bioinformatics is desirable.
